This is a new action of the Sybir Memorial Museum. We need your photos which will be used in the final hall of the museum’s permanent exhibition. We are looking for Siberian deportees and their families (children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren) who will send us photos in accordance with the following guidelines.

How to take a good picture?

1. Take a photograph in a vertical position with a camera or a phone.

2. Use the natural light. Do not pose in the stream of light behind you.

3. Choose a neutral background. Remove items behind you.

4. The photo should show ¾ of a person in frame. Do not crop the photo at your wrists.

5. Say ‘cheese’!

If you need help with taking a picture – dont’t worry! Ask your housemate to take a photo of you with a camera or a phone. When the photo is ready, send it to the Museum.

I certify that if I provide the personal data of my family member in the section "Optional information" of this web form, it means that I have the direct consent of that family member for the transfer and processing of his/her personal data by the Sybir Memorial Museum. At the same time, I declare that I have read and familiarized my family member with the Information Clause placed at the end of the Regulations of the Action # Remembered.

I consent to use the materials and information indicated in the web form posted on the website of the Action #Zapamiętani, free of charge as well as for an unlimited period of time and without territorial restriction, including making them available by the Sybir Memorial Museum (entered in the Register of Cultural Institutions under entry no. RIK 08/17) and exercising of derivative copyrights by third parties, designated by the Sybir Memorial Museum on the following fields of exploitation:

historical elaboration, digitisation and inclusion of photographs in the supporting material of the Sybir Memorial Museum;
making the photographs available for purposes related to the statutory activity of the Sybir Memorial Museum, including them as a part of permanent and temporary exhibitions as well as in publications;
within the scope of preservation and multiplication: printing in the form of exhibitions and paper books (also re-editions in any number, including in the form of e-books); publishing on the Internet, including on the Sybir Memorial Museum’s website and on social networking sites, including Facebook; publishing fragments or a whole separately, or in combination with other publications in any quantity;
within the scope of dissemination: dissemination in paper books, e-books or other forms of publication indicated in section a) in paid or free forms, including through sale, donation, lending for use, lease; dissemination in a whole or in parts separately, or in combination with other publications as a part of exhibitions and other cultural events organized by the Sybir Memorial Museum, in paper, electronic and multimedia forms;
using a whole or parts in advertising, marketing and promotional materials, in particular as a part of the publications, website elements, posters, billboards, leaflets, presentations, films, blogs, newsletters and other advertising campaign tools, in a whole or in any part in a configuration with any other compositions, texts, comments, reviews, opinions, information, advertisements;
making them available to third parties and institutions cooperating with the Sybir Memorial Museum for scientific, research, exhibition and educational purposes on the basis set out above.
